i just started watching the anime Fushigi Yuugi %26amp; i was wondering how many seasons are out ? thanks for the help :)|||There is one season to the main show being 52 episodes which were completed as of 1996. Since the end of the show, there has been 3 OVA's released to finish where the show has left off and them some.
The first OVA: 3 episodes unrelated to the manga.
The second: 6 episodes to cover the last four volumes of the manga.
The third: 4 episodes based on the light novels also not part of the manga.
