I'm a male and I'm just curious.|||its for both gender, although it may be themed as shojo mainly because the story is about love...%26amp; we know that girls are a sucker love story, but i dont think that means that it's only meant for girls...
but i guess the rason why some guys dont feel like watching it is because its centered on love...there may be some cheesy moments that guys don't like, that girls love..
but if you appreciate good romance, then i suggest this anime to be watched. it actually has been my standard of romance when it comes to anime

i've watched a couple of animes like naruto, dragonball, rorouni kenshin, yuyu hakusho, get backers, etc. that are shonen, but that didnt stop me from watching it even if its for boys...
all because i love animes %26amp; i appreciate the story behind it.
'girl-themed' or 'boy-themed'
^_^|||It's for both. There are male characters that are cool in that series it's just that the main main character is a female. It's just like Inuyasha, where Kagome is the main character along with Inuyasha.|||It clearly was leaning toward girls, but not drastically so.|||Yes, and Inuyasha is awesome too!|||it's for both!!!!!
