Is the anime fushigi yuugi okay for kids?

is the anime Fushigi yuugi appropriate for children around 10 years old.


i've only seen two episodes of it, i i think it's okay but i want a second opinion, maybe from some one who has watched the entire series.





it kinda reminds me of sailor moon.





is it appropriate for a 10 year old child?


and if so,


would you recommend it....for a 10 year old child?





thanks.^o^|||No. It's kinda ecchi-ish so i wouldnt let a ten-year-old child watch it. At first its all ok and kid friendly, but as it goes on, the anime will start showing romance and ecchi stuff. So.. a big nono for a 10 year old.|||Let me be frank, at first, i thought it was good but as the anime goes on, it gets to have little sex scenes. I remember an episode where tamahome was having sex with Soi, who pretends to be Miaka during that time.This anime is not appropriate for children. :(

I suggest you let those kids watch CardCaptor Sakura, Gakuen Alice and Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles(but don't let them watch the OVAs. The story turns dark by that time ^_^ ) It's includes romance but only a little. They'll even enjoy the fantasy concept! ^o^|||Some good ones to try include Case Closed, Avatar: The Last Air Bender, Pokemon, Card Captor Sakura, Tenchi Muyo, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Spirited Away.





In addition, Naruto, Full Metal Alchemist, Dragonball Z and Yu-Yu-Hakusho are fine for the older kids, say 12 and up.|||i wouldn't recommend though 'cause there are some violence in it, and nudity
