I've already watched the anime and am thinking about reading the manga. So can you tell me, which is better?|||As we all know,, manga based anime are somehow cut and there are parts that is not really shown in anime,,,
and this also applies to fushigi yuugi
one spoiler of that is the story of chiriko's power,, in the anime it is no stated that his power is malfunctioning but in the manga it did,, the only reason i can think of on why they erased this part in the anime is because all the boy characters, i guess, dressed as a girl,, haha
if you want the complete story I prefer you read the whole manga,, it's good,,,
one thing similar is the way the art is progressing,,, the anime and the manga beginings art is not that good but as the story progressed they became GOOD,,
also the comedy part of the anime is definitely and most hilarious in the manga,, that is if you have good imagination,,
haha,,
you should read it..|||i think the art is better in the anime(not sure i think i just sneaked a peek at the manga) i never read the manga but i did read FUSHIGI YUUGI: GENBU KAIDEN it was really good although it not finished yet its about Takiko the priestess before Miaka)|||to me, the manga is better|||no idea
