I was wondering what is the time era it takes place in?|||YES!!!!!!!! I WATCHED AND READ THE WHOLE SERIES!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE THAT ANIME!!!!!! The anime and manga takes place between the early to mid 90's and the Ovas start between the mid to late 90s into the early 2000's and in the book's time it's during the Ancient Chinese War Era.
Miaka and Tamahome^_^|||this one I think. It's set in modern times.|||im an anime fan but never heard of it.. :(|||it takes the time era at japan time.|||a japanese era..im not sure when..ohh..i love this anime..i love tamahome!|||the anime starts with two girls in the modern era. however through a magical book they get transported to ancient china. nice anime.|||yep its weird and quited for adults but not totally gentai.
