Fushigi Yuugi: What chapter of which volume of the manga does Miaka meet Taka?

I know the anime doesnt show that, and I dont feel like reading all 9 volumes of the manga bc my computer is really slow at loading stuff.|||its probably the first and two chapter where tamahome saves miaka from the bully at the alley. That is when both miaka and yuri got drag in to the book.
