Are Fushigi balls supposed to have a dent around the ball?

There's almost like a dent going around the protected chrome ball, imagine if you put a straight line around the world until it looped? I'm not sure if it's a deficiency, or normal.





Thanks!|||I'm not sure about a dent exactly, but I'm pretty sure there is a seam that runs all the way around. It's made one half at a time with the smaller ball placed in the center.
